  • Mold Champions stands out thanks to our signature treatment solution: CHAMPION. Unlike traditional mold remediation methods that rely on harsh or toxic chemicals, CHAMPION uses hypochlorous acid (HOCl)—a powerful, eco-friendly antimicrobial naturally produced by human white blood cells. HOCl effectively destroys mold by breaking down protective biofilms, killing mold cells, and oxidizing spores to prevent regrowth. It’s safe, non-toxic, and proven effective, even in sensitive environments like hospitals and schools. Our science-driven, people-safe approach is what truly makes us different.

  • Before CHAMPION treatment begins, only visibly compromised or moisture-damaged materials need to be removed—especially porous surfaces like drywall, ceiling tiles, insulation, or carpeting that cannot be adequately cleaned. These materials often harbor mold below the surface, where even the most effective treatments cannot fully reach.

However, not all mold-affected areas require aggressive demolition. If growth is limited to non-porous or semi-porous materials (like sealed wood or concrete), and moisture levels have been brought under control, CHAMPION may be applied directly after surface preparation and cleaning. Our process is designed to minimize unnecessary removal by combining targeted material removal with advanced disinfection fogging, using a high-concentration CHAMPION formulation that penetrates difficult-to-reach areas and inhibits regrowth by neutralizing residual spores and breaking down biofilms.

This approach balances thorough remediation with minimal disruption, tailored to the specific contamination and material type in your space.

  • Treatment costs vary by location and project size, but in most cases, Mold Champions costs significantly less than traditional mold remediation—often less than half the price.

Our lower cost comes from a smarter approach: instead of relying on harsh, hazardous chemicals that require extensive containment and protective equipment, we use a powerful, non-toxic solution that simplifies the process while remaining highly effective. This lets us deliver professional results without the heavy overhead—savings we pass on to you.

  • Yes, CHAMPION can be used on all water-safe surfaces. If it can be damaged by water, it should be removed from the area before treatment.
is safe and effective for use on most common household and commercial surfaces. It can be readily applied to hard, non-porous surfaces (i.e. glass, stainless steel, sealed countertops, plastic, ceramic, tile) as well as sealed/treated wood surfaces. It is recommended to first test CHAMPION against soft surfaces (fabric, carpets, upholstery, etc) in a small area first before applying to a large area.

Our CHAMPION solution should be used with caution against any unsealed/unfinished woods, unsealed metals or unsealed porous stones.

  • Many companies claim their products are "organic," but unless they are certified by the USDA, those claims can be misleading. Mold Champions uses CHAMPION, a treatment solution that is officially USDA Certified Organic. This certification means our product has undergone a rigorous third-party audit and meets strict standards set by the USDA National Organic Program.

You can verify our certification directly through the USDA’s Organic Integrity Database.

  • CHAMPION, our mold treatment solution, has been scientifically proven in lab studies to eliminate mold. But beyond the lab, we validate our effectiveness on-site using a rigorous before-and-after testing process.

We begin by taking air and surface samples to assess mold spore levels before treatment—alongside samples from the outdoor ambient air for baseline comparison. After treatment, we repeat the same testing. These samples are analyzed by a third-party accredited lab, and the results are compared.

We guarantee a post-treatment mold spore level that is lower than the baseline. That’s our proof, and our promise.

  • If you are within our service area, a trained Mold Champion will arrange a time to collect the air quality samples.

If you live outside our service area, we will mail you an “Air Sampling Kit” in the mail. Once received, review the provided instructions to send the samples to the lab directly with prepaid postage. You will receive your mold report by email and a Mold Champions professional will be in touch to review the results and next steps with you.

  • Mold Champions has a contract with EMSL Analytical, Inc. to perform its air quality and mold analysis services.  EMSL is a leader in the air quality analysis industry with laboratory locations throughout the United States.

  • At Mold Champions, we stand behind the effectiveness of our products and services. That’s why we offer a guarantee based on an independent scientific analysis.

After our treatment, we expect a significant reduction in indoor mold spore levels. Specifically, we compare the mold spore levels before and after service using certified air quality testing performed by an independent lab. If indoor active mold spore counts do not decrease by at least 50%, or if they remain higher than outdoor baseline levels, we’ll repeat the full treatment at no additional cost—until we meet the mark.
