“EMSL Analytical, Inc.” — EMSL Analytical is the leading independent mold testing company with 35 accredited mold testing laboratories throughout the United States and Canada.
“Total Fungi: Outside” — Outside air mold spore count is at 4,600 spores per cubic meter.
“Sample Location: Outside” — Mold spores are ever-present in the outside air. We measure outside air spore counts as a baseline to compare against indoor spore counts.
“Aspergillus/Penicillium:Basement” — The Aspergillus/Penicillium mold outbreak is extremely high compared to the outside air.
”Basidiospores, Chaetomium and Cladosporium: Basement” — The levels of these mold species are also elevated compared to outside air.
Stachybotrys/Memnoniella: Basement” — though low in concentration, the stachybotrys black mold species is particularly toxic and harmful to health and should be eliminated.
“Total Fungi: Basement” — Inside mold spore count is extremely elevated at 133,010 spores per cubic meter.
